Infinite fold
Prism Tunnel Privacy Policy
Effective 21 October 2026
The short version
- Prism Tunnel has no accounts and no servers of our own. We don't collect your name, email or location.
- Your scores and settings stay on your device.
- Leaderboards are run by Apple Game Center or Google Play Games. You can choose not to sign in.
- If the game crashes, an anonymous crash report goes to our error-monitoring provider (Sentry) so we can fix the bug.
- The free, ad-supported version shows ads from Google AdMob. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.
- We don't sell your personal information.
Who we are
Prism Tunnel ("the game", "we", "us") is made by Demir Alper Hastürk, an independent developer. For data protection law, we are the "controller" of the limited data described here. Contact us at [email protected].
What we collect
We do not run our own servers, and we don't ask you to create an account. We never receive your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, camera or microphone data. The game doesn't request access to any of these.
The only data that leaves your device does so through the third-party services described below. Each one is limited to what that service needs.
| Service | What it handles | Why |
|---|---|---|
| On-device storage | Best depths, settings, run counts | To remember your progress. Never leaves your device. |
| Apple Game Center / Google Play Games | Your scores and game profile (if you're signed in) | Leaderboards |
| Sentry | Anonymous crash and error reports | To find and fix crashes |
| Google AdMob Ad-supported version | Device advertising identifier (with permission), IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics | To show, measure and protect ads |
Storage on your device
Prism Tunnel saves your best depth for each difficulty (GLIDE, FOLD, SHEAR), your sound, music and haptics settings, and a few simple counters, such as how many runs you have played. These are kept in your device's app storage and are never sent to us. Uninstalling the game deletes them.
Leaderboards: Game Center and Google Play Games
If you're signed in to Apple Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), Prism Tunnel submits your best depth to that platform's leaderboards. Apple or Google then shows your score with your game profile name to other players. That data is handled by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We don't receive your Apple ID, Google account or email address.
- Apple: apple.com/legal/privacy. You can manage Game Center in Settings → Game Center.
- Google: policies.google.com/privacy. You can manage Play Games in the Google Play Games app or your Google Account settings.
If you're not signed in, nothing is submitted and the game works normally.
Crash reports (Sentry)
When the game hits an error, it sends a crash report to Sentry, our error-monitoring provider. A report contains:
- the technical error message and stack trace
- the app version
- your device model, operating system and version, and web-view (browser engine) version
- basic session health, meaning whether a play session ended in a crash
Reports contain no name, email, account, advertising identifier or game profile, and we configure Sentry not to store IP addresses. We use them only to fix bugs and never for advertising or tracking. Sentry processes them for us as a service provider and deletes them after a limited retention period, no more than 90 days. See Sentry's privacy policy.
Advertising Ad-supported version
The free version of Prism Tunnel shows ads between some runs, plus an optional "watch an ad to continue" offer. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's software in the app may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only if you allow tracking; Advertising ID on Android)
- your IP address, which can give an approximate location
- ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- device and app information, and diagnostics
Google uses this data under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, Google advertising and the Google Privacy Policy. We don't receive these identifiers ourselves.
Your consent and choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any personalized ads are shown, the game asks for your consent using Google's consent form. If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads, which are based on context rather than on you.
- iPhone and iPad: the game asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your device's advertising identifier can be used. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", it is not used. You can change this any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).
- Change your mind in the game: open Settings → Privacy choices in the game to review or withdraw your ad consent at any time.
- United States: depending on your state, personalized ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out using Settings → Privacy choices in the game or your device's ad settings above.
Ads in Prism Tunnel are limited to content suitable for general audiences.
Sharing your score
When you tap Share, Prism Tunnel creates an image of your score on your device and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes, if anywhere. We don't see or receive what you share.
Permissions
Prism Tunnel uses internet access (for leaderboards, crash reports and ads) and vibration or haptics. It doesn't use your camera, microphone, location, contacts or photo library.
Children
Prism Tunnel is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are restricted to general-audience content. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we'll help delete it.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
- Crash reports: our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and fixing bugs. The data is minimal and not linked to you.
- Leaderboards: performance of the service you choose to use by signing in to Game Center or Play Games.
- Personalized ads: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR, UK GDPR and California's CCPA/CPRA, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell personal information.
Because we don't hold accounts or identifiable data, most of these rights are easiest to exercise directly:
- On-device data: uninstall the game.
- Leaderboard data: use Apple's or Google's privacy tools linked above.
- Advertising: use Settings → Privacy choices in the game and your device's tracking and ad settings.
- Anything else, including crash reports: email [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days. Since crash reports are anonymous, we may need details such as your device model and the approximate time of the crash to find them.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We won't discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Security and retention
All data sent by the game travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Crash reports are kept only as long as needed to fix issues, up to 90 days. Data held by Apple or Google is kept according to their policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change how Prism Tunnel handles data, for example by adding a new service, we'll update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll also note it in the app's release notes.
