Section III · Codex · VII laws

The
codex.

  1. I

Nothing moves unless stillness would be worse.

Every element earns its place. If removing it doesn’t hurt, it goes. Default to less.

    Precedent — wuwei.now
  2. II

    Nobody is watched.

Faces, voices and locations are processed where they are. Text leaves the device; people don’t. No analytics on this site either.

Precedent — Mirror on the Wall · Pythia
  3. III

No engine where geometry will do.

Own the stack down to the draw call. A fractal is strokes, not sprites; a sky is a shader, not a skybox.

Precedent — Prism Tunnel · Lost in Clouds
  4. IV

    One codebase, every screen.

Ship to the browser first, then wrap the same build for both stores. Native only where native earns it.

Precedent — Time Manager · Bindu
  5. V

    Prove it.

Determinism, fixtures, audits. If a claim matters, a machine checks it — 899 conformance checks, 42 palettes run through WCAG.

    Precedent — Pythia · wuwei.now
  6. VI

    Outlive the maker.

Whatever can run on the device runs on the device. If Punk Initiative vanished tomorrow, what you installed should still open and still do its job — nothing essential hangs on a server we pay for.

Precedent — Pythia · Prism Tunnel
  7. VII

    Ship the strange thing.

Eyes in the curtains, a sphere made of gas, a bust that screams. Safe is a decision too, and it is usually the wrong one.

    Precedent — Punk Initiative
